It was with much anticipation that the Remai Modern Museum of Modern Art opened up along the Saskatchewan River in the heart of Saskatoon earlier this fall. With a swanky museum and Toronto-based restaurant group, Oliver & Bonacini, behind the concept must come an interesting restaurant as well.
Shift is a contemporary Prairie-inspired eatery that serves up all sorts of interesting dishes including wild mushroom and barley soup, dusted with brown butter breadcrumbs, steak tartare with warm onion bannock, roast chicken with bread dumplings, wild rice pudding studded with fruit compote and chocolate.
*Dinner includes appetizer, main and dessert for each person as well as a sommelier-selected bottle of house white or red wine. Taxes and gratuity to be provided by winner.
