Christopher Cho's recipe for a citrusy rum cocktail

We all know Hemingway loved to drink, so we may as well toast to him in style with this cocktail, courtesy of Ayden Kitchen and Bar's general manager/mixologist, Christopher Cho.

The Hemingway

1 1/2 oz. white rum
1/4 oz. maraschino liqueur
3/4 oz. grapefruit cordial
1/2 oz. lime juice
grapefruit juice float

In a Boston shaker, add rum, maraschino, grapefruit cordial, and lime juice.

Add ice and shake vigorously.

Double strain into a coupe.

Float grapefruit juice over top of the cocktail.

Garnish with a grapefruit peel and serve.

Yield:
1 cocktail
