There's a beer for every occasion. While we're big fans of IPAs and stouts, we found that Mad Jack’s apple taste works well with barbecue sauce. Go ahead, give it a try and then put it on everything from ribs and grilled chicken to burgers and pizza.

2 cups Mad Jack Premium Apple Lager
1-1/3 cup ketchup
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
4 tbsp molasses
4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp yellow mustard
cayenne pepper, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat. Stir until mixture is thick, about 20 to 30 minutes.
