A warming cocktail with bourbon and maple syrup

Is there a more Canadian way to warm up in the winter than with a cocktail that's made with maple syrup and whisky? We didn't think so. This Cabane à Sucre from Calgary's NOtaBLE restaurant has bourbon, Averna bitters, cold brewed NOtaBLE blend coffee, St. Leon maple syrup from Quebec, and a just touch of smoke. So, whether you're all dressed up for a holiday party or sitting outside in plaid and denim, this is the perfect drink for the season.

1 3/4 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon
1/4 oz. Averna bitters
1/4 oz. Quebec maple syrup, dilute slightly for ease of pouring
1/4 oz. cold brewed coffee, we use our NOtaBLE Blend coffee and brew it in house
1 sprig rosemary, for garnish

But all ingredients except garnish in a shaker filled with ice. Stir ingredients for 30 seconds

Pour into chilled glass and garnish with flamed rosemary sprig.
