Eat North Podcast: Melodies and Menus with Tyler Shaw and chef Suzanne Barr

An award-winning singer and acclaimed chef talk food and music on our new podcast episode

We are very pleased to announce that a new season of our podcast series Melodies and Menus has arrived!

Co-hosted by Dan Clapson and singer Madison Olds, the lively 8-episode series aims to celebrate all things food and music with an array of dynamic guests. From chart-topping singers to celebrated chefs, food personalities and other recognizable Canadians, we know that everyone loves their food with a side of music and vice versa.

Our season two premiere episode sees Clapson and Olds chatting with one of the most familiar faces in Canadian pop music, Tyler Shaw, as well as My Ackee Tree author and Wall of Chefs judge Suzanne Barr.

Shaw discusses everything from returning to touring (alongside Josh Ramsay) to the viral success of his most recent release "Love You Still (abcdefu romantic version)" as well as his love of brunch and dim sum. Barr talks about how her memoir came to be, diversity as it pertains to food television and why music plays an important part in creating atmosphere in a restaurant.

The Eat North Podcast can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and more. The main music on Melodies and Menus episodes comes courtesy of the Madison Olds single "Average".
