Calgary’s King Eddy announces Canada Day programming

King Eddy’s No Cover Canada Day returns on July 1

Calgary’s King Eddy announced this week that it will once again be hosting its No Cover Canada Day celebration on July 1. Similar to years past, the iconic East Village venue will offer a full day of musical entertainment from a stellar lineup of Canadian musicians. 

On the main floor, guests will be treated to performances by artists such as Cree-Métis blues-rocker Bebe Buckskin, country-rock singer Devin Cooper, banjoist and songwriter Amy Nelson, and Franco-Albertan singer Pierre Sabouri, while on the rooftop patio and terrace space, guests will enjoy performances from jazz pianist Timothonius and alternative R&B artist ZENON

The No Cover Canada Day celebration will run from 11 a.m. till late and is open to guests of all ages. King Eddy also plans to offer a selection of comfort food classics, shareable bites, and vegetarian options, along with a selection of local brews and custom cocktails on tap.
