Check it Out: Pizzeria Farina's anniversary Vancouver charity initiative

The Main Street pizzeria is celebrating 11 years by giving back to its community

After surviving a tumultuous two years of pandemic uncertainty and an unexpected change in landlords earlier this year, Vancouver’s Pizzeria Farina is getting ready to celebrate its 11-year anniversary this summer, and to commemorate the occasion, the Main Street pizzeria will be donating $1 from every Finocchiona pizza sold in July to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre

"Creating exceptional, well-made pizzas is our love language to the community and we’re so grateful to continue to be a part of it,” says GM James Cheung. "All the amazing people who have come into Farina over the past 11 years are like family, and they are the reason we’ve been able to do what we love."

For those still unacquainted with the popular Pizzeria Farina offering, the Finocchiona pizza features a tomato sauce base with toppings of fennel sausage, provolone, parmesan, and sweet peppers. The pizza is priced at $23 and can be purchased at the Vancouver eatery daily from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
