After closing up shop following its annual holiday transformation, one of Canada’s few rum bars, Ricardo’s Hideaway, is ready to reopen tomorrow in Calgary for the summer season. With a fresh coat of paint and a minor off-season facelift, Ricardo’s plans to resume offering Calgarians a Caribbean-inspired escape from the hustle and bustle of 17th Avenue.
Upon reopening, guests can expect to see a selection of old food and beverage items, a handful of new creations, and one of the city’s best happy hour programs with daiquiris, piña coladas, beer, and wine all priced at $5.
Ricardo’s Hideaway will be open Thursdays from 4 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m., and on Sundays from 2 p.m. to midnight. Reservations can be made online.
