Submissions for the 2022 Taste Canada Awards open January 19

Taste Canada will accept food writing award submissions from January 19 to February 23

The Taste Canada Awards has now officially entered its 25th year as Canada’s premiere avenue to acknowledge and celebrate the success of Canadian culinary authors, and this week, Taste Canada announced that it will begin accepting submissions for the 2022 food writing awards on January 19. 

Although extensive details regarding eligibility requirements and the submission process are expected to be revealed by Taste Canada in the very near future, submissions for any culinary book written by Canadian authors and published between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 will likely fit the required parameters. 

With last year’s panel of winners including acclaimed culinary content creators like Anna Olson, Nuit Regular, Lesley Chesterman, and Jenn Sharp, it will be especially interesting to see which authors from the past 12 months rise to the ranks of Canada’s elite food writers.
