With June 1 comes the beginning of Pride season celebrations across North America and beyond. Even though the Edmonton Pride and Calgary Pride festivals aren't until August, plenty of Alberta food and drink businesses are already getting to the celebrating (and supporting!).
Today, hospitality group Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts just unveiled Pride-themed cocktails for the month. Each of its five properties has created a unique drink which will see proceeds being donated to ;Canmore Pride (by the four CRMR mountain properties) and Calgary Pride (by The Lake House).
“We are excited to celebrate diversity within our teams, industry and community as a whole," said CRMR president Larkin O’Connor. “This company-wide initiative is an expression of our safe, welcoming and inclusive workplaces.”
