Parq Vancouver’s swanky D/6 Bar and Lounge recently gave its already-creative beverage selection a seasonal refurbishment, offering guests a unique new experience through a number of new cocktails inspired by various landmarks throughout the world.

The Douglas Fir cocktail was designed to represent British Columbia and its natural beauty. The main component, the Douglas Fir Gin, was made specifically for the Douglas Hotel by Yaletown Distilling Company, and to further enhance the gin’s unique flavour profile, D/6 combines a local beer syrup from 33 Acres Brewing, complimentary spirits, herbs, and fresh B.C. juices.

Douglas Fir cocktail

1.25 ounces Douglas Fir Gin
0.5 ounces Bulleit Bourbon
0.25 ounces green Chartreuse
0.25 ounces 33 Acres syrup
0.5 ounces lemon juice
2 ounces pear juice

Muddle fresh rosemary with all three spirits.

Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice.

Strain into a coupe glass, and garnish with a clipped rosemary sprig.
