LOCAL Public Eatery River District to open next month

The cool new LOCAL location is opening in Vancouver very soon

After growing its line-up of contemporary pubs across Canada and parts of the United States, LOCAL Public Eatery is preparing to open its newest location in its home base of Vancouver.

The new LOCAL has a home in the River District, a large commercial and residential development well underway on the edge of the Vancouver city limits along the Fraser River. Other concepts headed to the new development include Bufala, District Noodle House, and Lucky Taco.

While LOCAL is a chain, it is known for customizing the design and layout of each location to create some individuality.

At its new River District location, patrons can expect garage doors to provide an open-air experience beyond its indoor and outdoor seating, a "cutting-edge" digital display above the main bar featuring its beer offerings. As well, the double-height space will have a mezzanine level with a sub-concept called "Trophy Room" that will be available for large groups and teams to have bespoke spirits-leaning celebrations in a semi-private area.

As for the food, expect all the LOCAL classics like its smash burgers, fried chicken, ahi tuna poke bowl and more. It's got a pretty tasty breakfast sandwich during weekend brunch too, so give that a try if you haven't already.

LOCAL Public Eatery River District is located at 8558 River District Crossing. Stay tuned to the chain's Instagram feed for its official opening date, operating hours, and more: @localpubliceatery.
