A thoughtful Valentine's Day dinner deserves an equally thoughtful and beautiful cocktail to start it all. Make this Twinkly Eyed cocktail with The Emerald Supper Club's recipe. It's light on the palate but packs a punch. 

The Emerald Supper Club and Cocktail Lounge, located in Chinatown Vancouver, offers a mix of snacks, hearty dishes and bold cocktails in its vintage and old-Vegas inspired room.

1 oz. Absolut Elyx vodka
1/2 oz. St-Germain elderflower liqueur
1/2 oz. elderflower syrup
Champagne or sparkling wine
1 strip lemon zest

Fill a coupe or champagne glass with ice cubes and add vodka, elderflower liqueur and elderflower syrup. Top with your favourite champagne.

Garnish with lemon zest.
