This fun, summery cocktail was created by Container Bar's barkeep, Mike Defina, exclusively for Shake, Stir and Strainbow: a fundraiser campaign in partnership with Vine Arts and Victoria Park Business Association in support of an Alberta LGBTQ2+ charity. Between Aug. 18 and Sept. 2, $1 from each sale of this Pride-inspired drink (which is also available upstairs at Brasserie Kensington and downstairs at Winebar Kensington) will be donated to the Skipping Stone Foundation, which supports trans youth and their families.
This trio of Kensington establishments are just three of the 30 participating restaurants and bars around Calgary.
