Watch: Eat North Variety Pack Episode 8
Watch our latest episode of Eat North Variety Pack
The eighth episode of our Facebook Live talk show was a ton of fun and saw co-hosts Mairlyn Smith and Dan Clapson catch up on food and drink news with panelist Carmen Cheng before our special guests appeared.
First up, we had Seattle-based writer, author and pasta artist Linda Miller-Nicholson on to talk about the creation of her edible works of art for her Instagram feed (@saltyseattle) as well as demonstrate how to make ravioli. Next, Edmonton's Steve Brochu, chef-owner of MilkCrate, chats with Mairlyn about his virtual cooking class business and makes a simple pasta. (We're all carbs today on Eat North Variety Pack.)
To close out the show, talented singer and current Country Music Association of Ontario Awards nominee, Kalsey Kulyk, chats about growing up with local food on a farm in rural Saskatchewan and some of her favourite Canadian eats before performing a brand new, yet-to-be-released tune called "Dontcha".
