One of the reasons why people embraced individual portion coffee makers like Keurig was because of convenience, but it wasn't long before people came to realize that the little convenient pods that we using each morning weren't very sustainable.
It is with this ongoing waste crisis in mind that OneCoffee, a Canadian company, created a 100% compostable single-serve coffee pod product made with organic, fair trade coffee, hoping to help reduce the country’s pod trash problem with a made-in-Canada solution. The pods and their design are comprised of things like biodegradable ink, paper and compastable plastics, all of which can break down in a commercial compost, something which most major Canadian cities now offer.
You can find OneCoffee in grocers like Loblaw, Metro, Sobeys, Whole Foods Market as well as many independent natural food stores.
To be entered to win a Keurig coffee maker and six boxes of OneCoffee 100% compostable coffee pods, tell us below what's one thing you look forward to in the morning aside from your first cup of coffee!
