The summer ain't over yet and Calgary continues to bring the heat when it comes to live music in the city.

From the 2022 CCMA Award-nominated act Alee at The Prairie Emporium with opener Ashley Ghostkeeper to rockers The Tea Party and One Bad Son at Grey Eagle Resort, here's where you can watch some fantastic live music throughout August.

Head to the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino on Wednesday, August 3 for a great night of Canadian rock. Juno-nominated band The Tea Party will be joined by One Bad Son for what is guaranteed to be a great night.

Taste of Calgary (August 4-7)

Taste of Calgary brings an array of food and drinks vendors to one central spot from August 4-7. In addition to their culinary offerings, there will also be plenty of live music all weekend including acts like The Rondel Roberts Band, Natalie Inga, Flaysher and many more.

It's been a minute since the award-winning country artist Alee has performed in Alberta, but she'll be doing just that at The Prairie Emporium on August 5 with special guest Ashley Ghostkeeper.

Rosebud Summer Concert Series (August 6)

The Rosebud Concert Series will take place every Saturday throughout the month beginning on August 6. Acts include Mariel Buckley, Joe Vickers, John Wort Hannam and more, so plan for a little road trip for some great tunes.

Sundays in C-Square East Village presented by Studio Bell (August 7, 14, 21, 28)

Studio Bell brings live music to C-Square in East Village. Every Sunday, from 1-4 p.m.

Head to the East Village to catch performances by a variety of amazing acts like Kate Stevens, Dueling Piano Kings featuring Kayla Williams, and Saskatoon's The Steadies.

Big Rock Brewery Barn Burner (August 27)

Big Rock Brewery always-epic Barn Burner event will make its triumphant return on August 27. The concert headliners includes celebrated Canadian acts Yukon Blonde and The Zolas along with special guests.

The Free Label at the King Eddy (August 27)

Alt-pop band The Free Label are bringing the party to The King Eddy on August 27.

If you've never seen The Free Label before, get ready for a show! The six-piece band comes from Toronto with a 70s and 80s funk-soul sound, and it is truly a show that you don’t want to miss.

Blue Jay Sessions: Pride Edition (August 27)

Celebrate the first Saturday of the 2022 Calgary Pride season at The Prairie Emporium with a special one-night edition of Blue Jay Sessions.

The night will feature three amazing queer musicians from Calgary (Melody Stang, ZENON and Hayden McHugh), who will share songs and stories in an intimate setting. Tickets available now via Showpass.
