Sorting through your closet to separate winter clothes from spring attire can feel cumbersome, but making a refreshing drink in honour of warmer weather doesn't need to be. This simple spin on a vodka and soda uses a smooth vodka from Calgary's Burwood Distillery's and dry, crisp Rock Creek rosé cider, which results in a cocktail that is as rewarding to sip as it is watching the snow melt away for the season.
1 oz. Burwood Distillery vodka
5 oz. Rock Creek rosé cider
soda water, enough to top
1 wedge lime, for garnish
Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Add vodka, cider and top with soda water.
Garnish with lime wedge and serve.
