Known well for making superb brews, Dandy Brewing Company's taproom in the Ramsay neighbourhood of Calgary also serves up some fun cocktails. Dandy is one of the 70 spots taking part in our 2nd annual fundraiser cocktail campaign, Shake, Stir and Strainbow! This fun drink is easy to make and even easier to sip.
Swing by their taproom from now until Sept. 2, 2019 to order the I Saw Her Standing There, and you'll be helping to raise funds for Alberta charity, Skipping Stone Foundation, which provides support to trans youth across the province.
I Saw Her Standing There
1/4 oz. absinthe
1/4 oz. Cointreau
1/2 oz. Mount Gay Rum
1/4 oz. lime juice
1/4 oz. peach syrup
2 dashes Ms Better Pineapple Star Anise bitters
1 piece orange peel, for garnish, optional
Place first 5 ingredients in shaker, fill with ice and shake for 15 seconds.
Strain into chilled coupe glass, finish with bitters, garnish with orange peel and serve.
