Orange marmalade isn't just for your toast. Use it in this cocktail recipe along with Hennessy cognac for a lively, yet rich and warming drink that's perfect for the colder months.
1 ½ oz. Hennessy Very Special Cognac
¾ oz. Velvet Falernum or orgeat syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 heaping tbsp orange marmalade
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
Add all liquids to a shaker filled with ice. Shake until well chilled. Fine strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.
