Lemon goat cheese buttercream

A simple recipe for citrusy and tangy buttercream

Lemony and tangy, this buttercream will brighten up your palate and your day.

1/2 cup soft goat cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 1/2 cups icing sugar, adjust to taste if desired
1 lemon, zested
1 tbsp lemon juice

Beat goat cheese and butter together until combined.

Beat in the icing sugar, a half cup at a time. Once the sugar has been completely mixed in, add lemon zest then beat on high until fluffy.

Beat in lemon juice until smooth.
