The BC chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier has just opened up applications for their 2023 scholarship intake that will see $20,000 being distributed to female and non-binary-identifying individuals who reside in the province, work in the hospitality industry and are looking to further their food-and-drink-related education.
Interested individuals can apply online until February 13, 2023 with their ideal "credible educational institution" of choice while making a case as to why they would be deserving of the scholarship support. The education does not need to be limited to the professional kitchen and can include education in fields like beverage, agriculture, viticulture, aquaculture and more.
The organization notes that previous scholarship winners can still be awarded depending on educational opportunity presented. As well, previously unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
