Don't just get a tequila or beer the next time you host a Mexican feast at home. Try a mezcal cocktail to start the meal instead--and we're not talking about margaritas. At Calgary's Anejo, tequila and mezcal are thoughtfully worked into classic cocktail combinations for a unique spin. Bitter and citrusy, this El Oso cocktail is reminiscent of a negroni, but with the addition of mezcal. Head to Anejo for one or make it at home.
The El Oso cocktail

1/4 oz. Cointreau
2 dashes chocolate bitters
2 dashes black walnut bitters
