UVA Wine & Cocktail Bar is the place to be for good drinks in Vancouver. Bar manager Lauren Mote can make some serious cocktails. Here, she combines sake, Aperol, sherry and Bittered Sling bitters for a killer libation.
1 oz. Junmai Nama Sake
1 oz. Aperol Italian aperitif
1/2 oz. Fino sherry
1/2 oz. lemon juice
2 dashes Bittered Sling Clingstone Peach Bitters
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake ingredients vigorously for 7 to 10 seconds. Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with fresh ice, and garnish with a thin lemon slice.
