Sabrine Dhaliwal, the bar manager at The Chickadee Room in Vancouver's Juke Fried Chicken, has created her own line of custom syrups to create delicious cocktails at home. The syrups are available online through Legends Haul along with the two other varities in the trio—hibiscus and coconut lime.
Try out the new spiced cherry and basil syrup with a little vodka, lemon, and soda in their Cherry Bomb cocktail recipe.
Cherry Bomb cocktail
45 mL Belvedere Vodka
20 mL Chickadee Spiced Chery Basil Syrup
20 mL lemon juice
Top with soda water
Lemon wheels
Combine all ingredients (except soda water) into a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake for 7-10 seconds, strain into a collins glass, top with soda water and garnish with lemon wheels.
