For whatever reason, the East Coast of Canada seems to have an undying love for donair sauce and, really, who can blame them? Though there are different sauce recipes that people swear by, we place our faith in our Eat North contributor, Kathy Jollimore.
This is stupid easy to make, just always make sure to have some condensed milk ready and waiting in the kitchen cupboard.
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
It ain’t the real deal but it’s as close as you're going to get. Besides, your 3 a.m. donair sauce craving doesn’t care.
Goes perfectly atop hot or cold pizza.
