This week will mark our 30th episode of Eat North Variety Pack. Co-hosts Dan Clapson and Mairlyn Smith, along with panelist Deepi Harish, are getting into the holiday spirit to celebrate this milestone with a few special guests.
Our first guest for the show is none other than Canada’s most-awarded male Canadian country music artist, Paul Brandt. The Alberta-based musician will fill us in on what he's got planned for the holidays, his initiative Not In My City and share a few of his favourite ingredients to cook with.
Next up, CBC Saskatchewan’s Fiona Odlum will join to share her love of Canadian food and a few holiday entertaining tips–even if the entertaining needs to be done via Zoom this year.
Finally, in honour of the momentous occasion, we will be treated to musical performances by folk-pop musician Jeffery Straker, who will be performing a holiday tune from his new holiday album, and Saskatoon-based country-roots rockers The North Sound, who will close out the show with a special song.
Eat North Variety Pack airs weekly on Thursdays at 7 p.m. MST / 9 p.m. ET on Facebook Live.
