What's more romantic than spending an evening pampered at one of the most iconic hotels in the city? Toronto's Fairmont Royal York is ready to help you create special memories this February, starting with two featured cocktails at the Library Bar. This Cupid's Arrow is a bar take on a perennial Valentine's Day favourite, chocolate-covered strawberries, made with strawberry vodka, sparkling wine and creme de cacao.

Here's how you can replicate this romantic drink at home.

Strawberry-infused vodka

3 large strawberries, sliced
1 cup vodka, (a smooth one, like Grey Goose)

In a container or bowl, put strawberries in vodka (preferably smooth one, like grey goose). Let it infuse overnight.

Sparkling wine syrup

100 mL sparkling wine
100 g sugar

Place sparkling wine and sugar in a small saucepan set over medium heat. Bring to a simmer until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and reserve.

Strawberry powder

1 handful strawberries

Dehydrate strawberries and grind to make powder.

2 oz. strawberry vodka
3/4 oz. sparkling wine syrup
1/4 oz. White Crème de Cacao
3/4 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. egg white
strawberry powder, for garnish

Pour all ingredients (except strawberry powder) into cocktail shaker. Shake until all ingredients are combined and frothy.

And add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain through a hawthorn strainer into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with strawberry powder in a heart shape.
