A refreshing twist on a classic margarita

As the Calgary Stampede kicks off, switch it up from beer to quality mezcal-inspired cocktails, namely the Native Tongues Mezcalgarita. 
This twist on a classic margarita is made with Pelton de la Muerte mezcal, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and basil cinnamon salted rim. Boozy, refreshing and just what you need after a big day in the tents or exploring the grounds. 
 

Mezcalgarita

1 1/2 ounces mezcal
1/2 ounces Cointreau
3/4 ounces fresh lime juice
1/4 ounces agave

Shake and serve with salted basil cinnamon rim.
