Origo Club's Les Treize cocktail

A floral, fruity and herbaceous cocktail that is as good for winter as it is for spring

Inspired by the Thirteen Desserts tradition of Provence, Origo Club’s Les Treize cocktail mingles floral, fruity and herbal notes all in one cocktail by way of chamomile, lavendar, citrus juices and juniper berries. Topped with Baron De Rothschild Brut Champagne, this elegant sparkling cocktail is great for any occasion or even just a quiet night in.

30 mL chamomile-infused Tanqueray #10 gin
3 to 4 juniper berries
3/4 oz. lavender syrup
5 to 10 mL Pastis
10 mL grapefruit juice
10 mL orange juice
10 mL lemon juice
10 mL pineapple juice
10 mL yuzu juice
15 mL Benedictine D.O.M.
15 mL Baron De Rothschild Brut Champagne

Add all ingredients except Champagne to cocktail shaker and shake for 5 to 10 seconds.

Pour into a Champagne flute and top up with Champagne.

Garnish with a fire-charred cinnamon stick and fresh lavender.
