Calgary is about to get much more colourful. Between August 25 and September 4, the city will be celebrating Calgary Pride and in addition to the parade and various performances and events, you can head to Hyatt Regency, the host hotel for the event for LGBTQ-inspired cocktails. Jason Kingsley, the president of Calgary Pride, came up with this sipper for the annual celebration.
1 oz. Giffard Crème de Fruits de la Passion
2 oz. white cranberry juice
fresh lemon juice, to taste
1 sprig rosemary, bruised, for garnish
3 Brandied cherries, for garnish
In a tall mixing glass with ice, add Giffard Crème de Fruits de la Passion, cranberry juice, and lemon juice. Stir and strain into a lowball glass.
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and brandied cherries.
