Not everyone likes their eggnog stiff over the holidays. For those folks in your life that don't drink too often or opt for a sober lifestyle, mix them a drink using Seedlip. The non-alcoholic distilled spirit comes in three flavours and packs a surprising punch for something that is zero proof.
This vegan spin on 'nog uses Seedlip Spice 94, which offers up notes of allspice, cardamom, oak, citrus and cascarilla.
Alternative Eggnog cocktail
2 ounces Seedlip Spice 94
2 ounces oak milk
1 ounce coconut cream
1/2 ounce date or maple syrup
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 drop vanilla extract, optional
freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
Add all ingredients except nutmeg to a bullet blender and mix until frothy, about 15-20 seconds.
Pour into a chilled glass, grate fresh nutmeg overtop and serve immediately.
