Pride Month may be in June, but the celebrations and events to generate awareness don't stop. This year, Vancouver Pride is taking place on August 4, and leading up to it, various restaurants and venues in the city are offering special features.
You can find this tequila cocktail at Tacofino from Friday, August 2 to Sunday August 4. Or, you can make it at home for your own party.
1 1/2 oz. Butterfly pea and lavender-infused tequila
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. Aperol
3/4 oz. housemade blueberry syrup
4 to 6 oz. soda water, to top
Fill a collins glass with ice
Add the infused tequila, Aperol, lime juice, blueberry syrup, and top with soda.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Butterfly Pea and Lavender-infused Cazadores Blanco Tequila:
750 mL Cazadores Blanco tequila
1/4 cup butterfly pea flower
2 tbsp lavender
In a large jar, combine tequila, butterfly pea flower and lavender.
Let infuse for 24 hours before using.
