Make this cocktail at home with Chickadee's custom hibiscus syrup

The Chickadee Room, a spin-off concept from Vancouver's Juke Fried Chicken, has launched some new summery cocktails along with a line of custom cocktail syrups created by bar manager Sabrine Dhaliwal.

Tempted by Agave is a refreshing tequila-based cocktail featuring Chickadee's hibiscus syrup, Aperol, and lime.

All three custom syrups are available to order online through Legends Haul and Juke Fried Chicken.

Tempted by Agave

45 mL Volcan Blanco Tequila
10 mL Aperol
15 mL Chickadee Hibiscus Syrup
30 mL lime juice
lime wheel

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake for 7-10 seconds, strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
