A light whisky cocktail with a hint of peach flavour

Fall is the perfect time to transition from fruit-forward cocktails to warming whisky cocktails, but that doesn't mean they have to be boozy Manhattans. 

One of Canada's most well-known spots for cocktails, Vancouver's UVA Wine and Cocktail Bar offers this cocktail, which takes the flavour of summer peaches and incorporates it with a rich Canadian rye whisky. Give it a try.

1 egg white
1 1/2 oz. Canadian Club rye
1/4 oz. Luxardo Bitter Bianco
3/4 oz. lemon juice
1/4 oz. peach syrup
1 barspoon creme de cassis
2 dashes Bittered Sling Moondog Bitters

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail tin.

Strain into an Old Fashioned glass.

Serve neat and garnish with dehydrated petals.
