Since your family might look at you a little funny if you start hitting the whisky first thing Christmas morning, best to hold off until brunch and add a couple ounces to a Caesar. This cocktail opts of the more "craft" version of Clamato, Walter Caesar Mix and works just fine year-round too.
Dip glass edges lightly in maple syrup and then dip into caesar rimmer spice mix.
Place some cucumber in glass, top with ice, add whisky, Walter Craft Caesar Mix, and remaining ingredients.
Stir, garnish with another cucumber shaving*, lime wedge and enjoy.
