Gourmet Stovetop Popcorn
1 tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup popcorn kernels
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup lemon rosemary butter
Place the first 3 ingredients in a medium pot over medium heat, giving the pot a little shake to make sure the oil coats most of the kernels.
Once the kernels begin to sizzle, cover pot and let pop, shaking occasionally until there is a 3-4 second delay between "pops".
Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before transfering to serving bowl.
Working in layers (as per our popcorn tips), dress the popcorn with the lemon rosemary butter and serve.
