One of the biggest summer festivals in Canada, the Calgary Stampede, is back. To celebrate, Bar C, one of the best destinations in the city for drinks, is teaming up with local Alberta distillery Eau Claire Distillery for a selection of Stampede-inspired cocktails. Make this spicy and smoky Caesar and have yourself a party.
BBQ rib rub, for garnish
1 ½ oz. Eau Claire vodka
1/2 oz. Jägermeister
1/2 oz. lime juice
1/2 oz. pepperoncini juice
1/2 oz. apple cider vinegar
8 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 bar spoon brown sugar
1 bar spoon chipotle
Mott’s Clamato
pickled vegetables, for garnish
wild boar rib, for garnish
Rim a pint glass with rib rub.
In a tall glass filled with ice, build the cocktail by layering ingredients, except vegetables and wild boar rib.
Garnish with pickled veg and wild boar rib.
