While no cocktail is more Canadian than the Caesar, you can still toast to the holiday with this red and white cocktail from Vancouver's H2 Rotisserie and Bar at The Westin Bayshore, where the bar features Vancouver microbrews, cocktails using regionally distilled spirits, as well as B.C. wines. Give it a try this weekend.
2 oz. Sons of Vancouver vodka
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. cane syrup
4 slices cucumber, chopped
1 slice watermelon, chopped, plus 1 small slice for garnish
Muddle all ingredients, except garnish, together in a cocktail shaker. Shake and pour into stemless wine glass.
Top with crushed ice and garnish with mini watermelon slice.
