We’ve all spent a lot of time indoors over the past two months and now that spring is finally starting to set in, we’re looking to take advantage and treat ourselves to some tasty backyard beverages. 

And few combinations scream spring as loudly as fresh fruit, sparkling wine, and a splash of cranberry juice. Add in some award-winning Empress 1908 gin and you've got a cocktail fit for royalty. 

Whether you're sipping in the sun, having a weekend brunch, or you simply want to show your mom the Royal Treatment this upcoming Mother’s Day, having a versatile go-to spring cocktail is a must. 

The Royal Treatment cocktail

1½ oz. Empress 1908 gin
3 oz. white cranberry juice
4 to 6 oz. sparkling wine, to top
1 to 2 slices kiwi, peeled, to garnish
berries, to garnish
1 to 2 mint leaves, to garnish

Build gin and white cranberry juice in a stemless wine glass.

Top with sparkling wine, and lightly stir.

Garnish with kiwi slices, berries, and a mint leaf.
