Whisky and prosecco might not be the first combination that comes to mind when mixing up a drink at home, but we're here to shake up your regular bubbly agenda.
Using the Okanagan-made Bearface Whisky and Mionetto Processo, the real secret ingredient to this unique (and easy-to-make) drink is a little strawberry jam for sweetness and fruitiness, which pulls everything together.
Bubbles and The Bear cocktail
1 1/2 oz. Bearface Whisky
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp strawberry jam
1 tsp honey
4 to 6 oz. Mionetto Prosecco, enough to top
1 basil leaf, for garnish
1/2 fresh strawberry, for garnish
Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
Add first 4 ingredients, shake and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice.
Top with prosecco, garnish with basil leaf and strawberry, and serve.
