Calgary Folk Festival presents Block Heater (Calgary, February 9-12)
Calgary Folk Music Festival’s Block Heater is back in action for 2022 with an epic lineup of musicians.
The festival will take place from Feb. 9-12 in a mix of indoor and outdoor venues such as The Ironwood, The Palace Theatre, Olympic Plaza, The Jack Singer Concert Hall and many more. The festival's lineup includes artists such as ZENON+, Luca Fogale, The Jayhawks and many more.

Blue Jay Sessions: A Midwinter Mood (Calgary, February 10-12)
The Blue Jay Sessions are back this month, bringing "midwinter mood” to The Prairie Emporium from February 10-12. With artists such as award winner Bobby Wills, The Rural Routes, Ashley Ghostkeeper and Melody Stang, these rounds are sure to be a hit as always.
Known for serving plenty of fun food and drink too, people can expect grilled cheese sandwiches, epic baked potatos, pulled pork lasagna plus a a selection of winter-friendly Russell Brewing Co. beers, feature cocktails and even some cool non-alch options too.
The Road to the JUNOs (Edmonton, February 6-28)
The JUNO Awards are headed to Edmonton next month and the city's celebration of Canadian music gets started with month with The Road to the JUNOs.
From February 6-28, the city will be brimming with live shows venues such as Station on Jasper, Starlite Room and La Cité francophone. Noted artists include Juno Award-winning singer Celeigh Cardinal, K-Riz, Kyle McKearney, Shaela Miller, D'ojray The Singing Shaman and many more.
ARtsXpeditions - The YYC Music Awards Spotlight Festival (February 5)
Arts Commons is taking over Olympic Plaza on February 5 to showcase some great Calgary musical talent via the YYC Music Awards Spotlight. Artists include Pat Clifton, Lisette Xavier, and The Ashley Hundred.
