Shocking news in Calgary this morning as Inglewood brewery Ol' Beautiful Brewing Co. has suffered extensive damage as the result of an overnight fire.

There is no information in regards to what started the fire as of yet, but with many new sources providing overhead visuals of the brewery, it is very clear that the damage is very severe.

Luckily, no staff or patrons were inside the Ol' Beautiful building during the fire when firefighters were called at approximately 2:30 a.m. this morning. The fire took over 2 1/2 hours to contain and any current passerbys on 12 St S.E. in Inglewood will easily notice plenty of lingering smoke and the sadly-charred brewery.

Ol' Beautiful has posted a statement on their Instagram account around 6 a.m. this morning.

"Our beloved Inglewood taproom caught fire early this morning. No staff or guests were on-site and our neighbours at Cold Garden were able to safely evacuate...Our off-site production facility will continue producing all of the our tasty beers which will still be available throughout the province on tap and in [liquor stores]."

The complete statement can be read online here. The brewery is also encouraging its brewery regulars and craft beer lovers to encourage local restaurants and bars who are not currently stocking their beers to do so in this time of need.
