Calgarians in search of fun Family Day activities are in for a treat following today’s announcement from the National Music Centre that it will be opening Studio Bell with free admission for a special day of dueling pianos, interactive activities and more on February 21.
In addition to having almost-instant access to popular food and beverage purveyors like Rosso Coffee Roasters and The King Eddy, visitors will be able to take part in a unique hands-on Instrument Petting Zoo, experience a Kimball Theatre Organ demo, and test their musical prowess with a self-guided trivia exercise.
Award-winning duo Dueling Piano Kings will also be on hand throughout the day to provide entertainment and take requests for genres ranging from classic rock to retro, to Top 40 music.
Studio Bell will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, February 21. Additional guided tours can also be purchased ahead of time via Studio Bell’s box office.
