Chinese chain Bingz Crispy Burger announces plans for Canadian expansion

The popular Beijing-based burger chain looks to become a household name in Canada

Following the highly successful launch of its first Canadian location in Markham, Ontario in May, popular Chinese fast food chain Bingz Crispy Burger announced this week that it plans to begin expanding across Canada and the United States.

Since its debut in Beijing in 2014, the Bingz Crispy Burger brand has launched more than 70 outlets and has sold more than 60 million Chinese burgers–a style that dates back more than 2,000 years and is typically considered the world’s first burger. In addition to popular offerings such as the slow cooked pork butt burger and the black pepper beef and oyster mushroom burger, Bingz also features a wide selection of noodle bowls, soups, sides, and beverages.

After proving its model in Markham with daily lineups and often completely selling out, the Bingz brand will be launching additional locations in the GTA and across Canada in the coming months. Keep an eye on their Instagram page for updates regarding its expected expansion timeline.
