The end of a relatively brief, but memorable era is soon coming to an end in Halifax following a recent announcement from chef Stephanie Ogilvie that Hop Scotch Dinner Club will be departing from its brick-and-mortar location to return to pop-ups and special events.

Fans of the Top Chef Canada finalist will likely remember that from 2018 to 2020, chef Ogilvie’s Hop Scotch Dinner Club pop-up was one of the most buzzworthy dining experiences the East Coast had to offer.

Although the former Chives Canadian Bistro pop-up will now be located at Bliss Caffeine Bar, we expect to see the same rotating array of creative seasonally-inspired eats the Halifax chef has become synonymous with, along with carefully crafted libations that highlight local wineries, brewers, and distillers.

Reservations at the Hop Scotch Dinner Club brick-and-mortar location are strongly encouraged until it closes its doors on April 30. Information regarding future private dinners and functions can be coordinated via email.
