Italy’s Ditta Artigianale opens new cafe in Toronto

The Florentine coffee roaster opens its first international location in Toronto

One of Italy’s premier coffee roasters opened the doors to its first international location today in Toronto. Ditta Artigianale opened its inaugural micro roastery in Florence in 2013, and since then it has garnered a reputation for offering high quality and ethically-sourced specialty coffee, pastries, and more.

Ditta’s new Toronto outpost boasts a sleek but subtle 40-seat space similar to that of its Florentine predecessors, along with a like-minded interior design that aims to combine contemporary innovation with traditional Italian artistry.

The current menu features a selection of Ditta’s own unique blends, however, in the coming weeks the cafe plans to expand its offerings with an array of brunch classics, a curated gin-centric cocktail list, and an assortment of shareable Italian bites.

Ditta Artigianale is located at 612 Richmond Street West and opens daily at 7 a.m.
