Today, Vancouver-based brewery Superflux Beer Company announced plans for its new expansion to Vancouver Island this fall.
The Superflux Cabana will be located in downtown Victoria and serve as the brewery’s second brick and mortar expansion since launching the Superflux Lounge in 2020. The two-level space will feature a full-service restaurant, a rooftop patio, and, of course, plenty of craft beer.
The concept for Superflux Cabana was conceived in collaboration with Vancouver-based design firm Studio Roslyn, and according to the two teams, the new space will feature a playfully bold design to provide guests with a relaxed atmosphere through the nostalgia of escapism.
“Our goal with the interior design direction was to rouse that oh-so-magical vacation mode feeling,” says Studio Roslyn’s Kate Snyder. “Atmospheric and a tad irreverent, the design has a certain cheeky nonchalance quality. We are confident people will have as much fun in the space as we have had developing the concept with the Superflux team.
Superflux is currently in the process of recruiting hospitality professionals for the launch of Superflux Cabana this fall. More information regarding menu details and the exact opening date is set to be revealed sometime this summer.
