After more than five years of providing Vancouverites with a highly unique lineup of eye-catching, innovative IPAs and experimental craft beers, popular brewery Superflux Brewing Company opened the doors to its first brick and mortar location in East Vancouver this past August. And now, this Friday, the brewery's long-awaited lounge addition will officially open.
“We’ve been blown away by the support we’ve seen from our fans since opening the retail store in August,” says Superflux co-founder, Adam Henderson. “We are so excited to have the lounge available so people can grab a beer and have a hot dog and just enjoy the space.”
The open-concept seating area will offer guests an array of the brewery’s most popular libations on tap, including Colour and Shape IPA, Happyness IPA, Easy Tiger, Coconuts IPA, and more.
Superflux’s culinary program, developed by chef Justin Lee (formerly of Crow Bar), will feature a selection interesting salads such as the Castelfranco Radicchio Nahm Jim (radicchio, green beans, spicy tomato dressing, fried shallots and peanuts) and the Gem Lettuce Bozanese (baby gem lettuce, Italian egg salad, pickled onion and butter potato).
The brewery has also teamed up with Graham Marceau of Corduroy Pie Company to develop a variety of hot dogs, highlighted by offerings like The Oscar (Two Rivers dry-aged beef dog, oven-dried tomatoes, dressed rock crab, bearnaise, smoked paprika and chives) and The Mortadella (Black Forest premium Bavarian dog, corn ragout, mortadella, lemon mayo, pistachio and grana padano).
The Superflux Lounge will open this Friday at noon and, going forward, will be open Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.
