It's always great to see exciting new food and drink ventures launching in Saskatchewan, and City Limits Brewing is the latest micro-brewery to make its debut in the province.
Attached to and owned by Stumbletown Distilling, this new craft brewery was in construction since January and officially opened in late May 2023.
It's initial beer lineup features four brews (a light beer, an IPA, a New England IPA, and a raspberry lime sour), with many new seasonal creations on the horizon. All of these beers can be purchased at the brewery, but Saskatoonians can expect to find the cans in select local liquor stores soon too.
Owner Craig Holland has long been known for his incorporation of local makers and artists in his Stumbletown Distilling space, and the official launch party for City Limits Brewing next weekend will be no different.
Happening on Saturday, July 8 from 12 p.m. to late, folks can expect a pop-up makers market, live music, cocktails by Stumbletown (of course!), a Caesar bar, food by Deadly Dogs, Al’s Kitchen, and Pik Up Stix Ice Cream, and more.
"On July 8th we’re pulling out all of the stops and having a party to celebrate the birth of Saskatoon’s newest brewery," says Holland in the event's announcement on social media. "Bring your kids! Bring your dog! Bring your wallet! The tunes and the good times are free but you have to pay for the beer!"
City Limits Brewing is located at 20-1905 Quebec Ave and open to the public Thursdays to Saturdays.
